{"data":{"id":"us-mt/7-32-213","jurisdiction":"us-mt","citation":"7-32-213","heading":"Qualifications for appointment as reserve officer.","body":"To be appointed a reserve officer, a person:\n(1) must have resided in the state continuously for at least 1 year prior to the appointment and in the county where the appointment is made for a period of at least 6 months prior to the date of the appointment;\n(2) must be a citizen of the United States;\n(3) must be at least 18 years of age;\n(4) must be fingerprinted, and a search must be made of local, state, and national fingerprint files to disclose any criminal record;\n(5) may not have been convicted of a crime for which the person could have been imprisoned in a federal penitentiary or state prison;\n(6) must be of good moral character as determined by a thorough background investigation;\n(7) must be a graduate of an accredited high school or the equivalent;\n(8) must be examined by a licensed physician within 30 days immediately preceding the date of appointment and pronounced in good physical condition; and\n(9) must possess a valid Montana driver's license.","path":["TITLE 7.
