{"data":{"id":"us-mt/7-32-2248","jurisdiction":"us-mt","citation":"7-32-2248","heading":"Inmate endangerment -- penalty.","body":"(1) A detention center administrator or staff member commits the offense of inmate endangerment if the administrator or staff member knowingly:\n(a) places or keeps a juvenile with adult inmates;\n(b) uses corporal punishment against an inmate; or\n(c) uses physical force against an inmate, except as necessary for:\n(i) self-defense;\n(ii) control of inmates;\n(iii) protection of another person from imminent physical attack; or\n(iv) prevention of riot or escape.\n(2) A person who commits the offense of inmate endangerment shall be fined an amount not to exceed $500.","path":["TITLE 7.
