{"data":{"id":"us-mt/7-34-2117","jurisdiction":"us-mt","citation":"7-34-2117","heading":"Procedure for conduct of election for trustees -- appointment of trustees.","body":"(1) All elections of trustees must be conducted in accordance with Title 13, chapter 1, part 5.\n(2) The first board of trustees must be elected at the election under 7-34-2110 on whether to create the district, subject to voter approval of the district.\n(3) If there are no candidates for a trustee position, the board of county commissioners shall appoint the trustee.\n(4) A member of the board taking office pursuant to subsection (3) serves a term of office as if elected to that office.","path":["TITLE 7.
