{"data":{"id":"us-mt/72-17-311","jurisdiction":"us-mt","citation":"72-17-311","heading":"Eye enucleations -- enucleators -- qualifications.","body":"(1) Eye enucleations for purposes of anatomical gifts may be performed:\n(a) by a licensed physician or surgeon; or\n(b) by an enucleator trained in eye enucleation.\n(2) An acceptable course in eye enucleation must include the anatomy and physiology of the eye, instruction in maintaining a sterile field during the enucleation procedure, and use of appropriate instruments and sterile procedures for removal and preservation of corneal tissue.\n(3) Certification of satisfactory completion of a course in eye enucleation must be provided by the ophthalmologist who teaches the course. This certification qualifies an enucleator to perform eye enucleations for a period of 3 years from the date of completion of the course.","path":["TITLE 72.
