The program must include training on all relevant aspects of prescribed fire in the state, including but not limited to the following:\n(a) applicable laws and rules;\n(b) safety planning and management;\n(c) weather;\n(d) prescribed fire behavior, complexity analysis, and techniques;\n(e) smoke management;\n(f) prescribed fire burn plan requirements and standards;\n(g) public relations;\n(h) prescribed fire burn permitting; and\n(i) contingencies.\n(2) The department may adopt rules to implement the prescribed fire manager certification program, including:\n(a) training requirements;\n(b) certification standards;\n(c) reciprocity requirements for prescribed fire certifications from other states and organizations;\n(d) administration of the prescribed fire manager certification claims account; and\n(e) fees.","path":["TITLE 76.
