{"data":{"id":"us-mt/80-11-511","jurisdiction":"us-mt","citation":"80-11-511","heading":"Duties of commodity advisory committees.","body":"(1) Each commodity advisory committee created in 80-11-510 shall advise the department regarding:\n(a) policies and procedures to be followed by the department when administering a commodity research and market development program associated with each respective advisory committee;\n(b) adoption of rules implementing and administering respective commodity research and market development programs;\n(c) annual assessments on agricultural commodities associated with a respective research and market development program;\n(d) assessment collection and enforcement procedures to be followed with each respective research and market development program; and\n(e) the awarding of research and marketing contracts.\n(2) None of the powers or duties provided for in this part permit participation in state or federal political action by an advisory committee.","path":["TITLE 80.
