{"data":{"id":"us-mt/80-8-402","jurisdiction":"us-mt","citation":"80-8-402","heading":"Statement of policy.","body":"The legislature finds and declares that:\n(1) the exposure of children to pesticides applied in and around schools can pose a potentially acute or chronic toxicological hazard to their health;\n(2) infants and children can be especially vulnerable to pesticides, especially if pesticides are not properly applied or used;\n(3) schools need to adopt pest management programs that minimize exposure of school children to pesticides and provide for alternative pest control methods; and\n(4) the department shall prepare and distribute to each Montana school district a model integrated pest and pesticide management safety program that satisfies the provisions of this section.","path":["TITLE 80.
