{"data":{"id":"us-mt/85-2-355","jurisdiction":"us-mt","citation":"85-2-355","heading":"Definitions.","body":"As used in 85-2-306, the following definitions apply:\n(1) \"Ephemeral stream\" means a watercourse that has a channel and that carries water only during and shortly after precipitation or snow melt events.\n(2) \"Intermittent stream\" means a nonperennial flowing stream that has a channel and that annually carries water but is dry for part of the year in most years.\n(3) \"Perennial flowing stream\" means a stream that has flowed continuously during all seasons during dry as well as wet years, except when the flow is interrupted by diversions.","path":["TITLE 85.
