{"data":{"id":"us-mt/85-7-1507","jurisdiction":"us-mt","citation":"85-7-1507","heading":"Conflict of interest -- criminal penalty.","body":"A commissioner or any other officer named in this chapter may not in any manner be interested, directly or indirectly, in a contract awarded or to be awarded by the board or in the profits derived from a contract. For any violation of this provision, the officer is guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction forfeits office and the officer shall be punished as provided in 45-7-401.","path":["TITLE 85.
