Stat. § 104D-2","heading":"Appointment of North Carolina members and alternate members of Southern States Energy Board.","body":"(a)\tNorth Carolina members of the Southern States Energy Board shall be appointed as follows:\n(1)\tOne member to be appointed by the Governor.\n(2)\tOne member of the House of Representatives to be appointed by the Speaker of the House of Representatives.\n(3)\tOne member of the Senate to be appointed by the President Pro Tempore of the Senate.\n(b)\tMembers shall serve at the pleasure of the original appointing authority and until their successors are appointed.\n(c)\tEach appointing authority is authorized to appoint an alternate member who may serve at and for such time as the regular member shall designate and shall have the same power and authority as the regular member when so serving.
