Stat. § 116-209.80","heading":"Definitions.","body":"The following definitions apply to this Part:\n(1)\tEligible postsecondary institution. - A school that is:\na.\tA constituent institution of The University of North Carolina as defined in G.S. 116-2(4).\nb.\tA community college as defined in G.S. 115D-2(2).\n(2)\tMatriculated status. - Being recognized as a student in a defined program of study leading to a degree, diploma, or certificate at an eligible postsecondary institution.\n(3)\tProgram. - The North Carolina Need-Based Scholarship Program for Public Colleges and Universities.\n(4)\tReserve Fund. - Scholarship Reserve Fund for Public Colleges and Universities.\n(5)\tScholarship. - A scholarship for education awarded under this Part.\n(6)\tTitle IV. - Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended, 20 U.S.C. § 1070, et seq.
