Stat. § 131E-145","heading":"Title; purpose.","body":"(a)\tThis Part shall be known as the \"Ambulatory Surgical Facility Licensure Act.\"\n(b)\tThe purpose of this Part is to provide for the development, establishment and enforcement of basic standards:\n(1)\tFor the care and treatment of individuals in ambulatory surgical facilities; and\n(2)\tFor the maintenance and operation of ambulatory surgical facilities so as to ensure safe and adequate treatment of such individuals in ambulatory surgical facilities.
