Stat. § 131E-153.1","heading":"Definitions.","body":"The following definitions apply in this Part, unless otherwise specified:\n(1)\tAbortion clinic. - A freestanding facility, that is neither physically attached nor operated by a hospital, for the performance of abortions during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy.\n(2)\tCommission. - The North Carolina Medical Care Commission.\n(3)\tOperating room. - A room used for the performance of surgical procedures requiring one or more incisions and that is required to comply with all applicable licensure codes and standards for an operating room.
