Stat. § 131E-231","heading":"Definitions.","body":"As used in this Article, unless otherwise specified:\n(1)\t\"Long-term care facility\" means a nursing home as defined in G.S. 131E-101(6) and an adult care home as defined in G.S. 131D-2.1(3) or G.S. 131E-101(4).\n(2)\t\"Resident\" means a person who has been admitted to a long-term care facility.\n(3)\t\"Respondent\" means the person or entity holding a license pursuant to G.S. 131E-102 or G.S. 131D-2.4 or a person or entity operating a long-term care facility subject to licensure without a license.
