Stat. § 135-48.22","heading":"Board powers and duties.","body":"The Board of Trustees shall have the following powers and duties:\n(1)\tApprove benefit programs, as provided in G.S. 135-48.30(a)(2).\n(2)\tApprove premium rates, co-pays, deductibles, and coinsurance percentages and maximums for the Plan, as provided in G.S. 135-48.30(a)(2).\n(2a)\tApprove the benefit program, premium rates, co-pays, deductibles, and coinsurance percentages and maximums for the coverage offered under G.S. 135-48.40(e).\n(3)\tRepealed by Session Laws 2021-125, s. 3(b), effective August 30, 2021.\n(4)\tApprove large contracts, as provided in G.S. 135-48.33(a).\n(5)\tConsult with and advise the State Treasurer as required by this Article and as requested by the State Treasurer.\n(6)\tDevelop and maintain a strategic plan for the Plan.
