Stat. § 143B-1323","heading":"Departmental organization; divisions and units; education community of practice.","body":"(a)\tOrganization. - The Department shall be organized by the State CIO into divisions and units that support its duties.\n(b)\tEducation Community of Practice. - There is established an Education Community of Practice to promote collaboration and create efficiencies between and among The University of North Carolina and its constituent institutions, the North Carolina Community Colleges System Office, the constituent institutions of the Community College System, the Department of Public Instruction, and local school administrative units.\n(c)\tOther Units. - Other units of the Department include the following:\n(1)\tCenter for Geographic Information and Analysis.\n(2)\tRepealed by Session Laws 2021-180, s. 19A.7A(d), effective January 1, 2022.\n(3)\tGovernment Data Analytics Center.\n(4)\tNorth Carolina 911 Board.\n(5)\tNorth Carolina Geographic Information Coordinating Council.
