Stat. § 143B-438.12","heading":"Federal Program Administration.","body":"(a)\tFederal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act. - In accordance with the federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, the NCWorks Commission shall develop a Four-Year Unified State Plan to be submitted to the U.S. Secretary of Labor. The Unified State Plan shall describe the State's strategic vision and goals for preparing an educated and skilled workforce as required in section 102 of the federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act.\n(b)\tOther Workforce Grant Applications. - The NCWorks Commission may submit grant applications for workforce development initiatives and may manage the initiatives and demonstration projects.
