Stat. § 150B-37","heading":"Official record.","body":"(a)\tIn a contested case, the Office of Administrative Hearings shall prepare an official record of the case that includes:\n(1)\tNotices, pleadings, motions, and intermediate rulings;\n(2)\tQuestions and offers of proof, objections, and rulings thereon;\n(3)\tEvidence presented;\n(4)\tMatters officially noticed, except matters so obvious that a statement of them would serve no useful purpose; and\n(5)\tRepealed by Session Laws 1987, c. 878, s. 25.\n(6)\tThe administrative law judge's final decision or order.\n(b)\tProceedings at which oral evidence is presented shall be recorded, but need not be transcribed unless requested by a party. Each party shall bear the cost of the transcript or part thereof or copy of said transcript or part thereof which said party requests, and said transcript or part thereof shall be added to the official record as an exhibit.\n(c)\tRecodified as the last sentence of G.S. 150B-34(a) by Session Laws 2025-25, s. 24(a), effective June 26, 2025.
