Stat. § 160D-1305","heading":"Powers of governing bodies.","body":"A local government, in order to exercise the authority granted by this Part, may:\n(1)\tEnter into and carry out contracts with the State or federal government or any agencies thereof under which grants or other assistance are made to the local government.\n(2)\tAccept any assistance or funds that may be granted by the State or federal government with or without a contract.\n(3)\tAgree to and comply with any reasonable conditions imposed upon grants.\n(4)\tMake expenditures from any funds so granted.
