Stat. § 36C-8-815","heading":"General powers of trustee.","body":"(a)\tA trustee, without authorization by the court, may exercise any of the following:\n(1)\tPowers conferred by the terms of the trust.\n(2)\tExcept as limited by the terms of the trust:\na.\tAll powers over the trust property that an unmarried competent owner has over individually owned property;\nb.\tAny other powers appropriate to achieve the proper investment, management, administration, or distribution of the trust property; and\nc.\tAny other powers conferred by this Chapter.\n(b)\tNo provision of this section shall relieve a trustee of the fiduciary duties under this Article.
