Stat. § 50D-1","heading":"Definitions.","body":"The following definitions apply in this Chapter:\n(1)\tHuman trafficking offense. - Any criminal offense under Article 10A of Chapter 14 of the General Statutes that is not a sex offense.\n(1a)\tPermanent civil no-contact order. - A permanent injunction that prohibits any contact by a respondent with the victim of a human trafficking offense or sex offense for which the respondent is convicted.\n(2)\tRespondent. - The person who committed the human trafficking offense or sex offense.\n(3)\tSex offense. -- Any criminal offense that requires registration under Article 27A of Chapter 14 of the General Statutes.\n(4)\tVictim. - The person against whom the human trafficking offense or sex offense was committed.
