Stat. § 50D-5","heading":"Remedy.","body":"(a)\tIf the court finds all of the following, the court may issue a permanent civil no-contact order:\n(1)\tThe respondent was convicted of committing a human trafficking offense or sex offense against the victim.\n(2)\tThe victim did not seek a permanent no-contact order under G.S. 15A-1340.50.\n(3)\tReasonable grounds exist for the victim to fear future contact with the respondent.\n(4)\tProcess was properly served on the respondent.\n(5)\tThe respondent answered the complaint and notice of hearing was given or the respondent failed to answer the complaint and is in default.\n(b)\tThe court may grant one or more of the following forms of relief in a permanent civil no-contact order under this Chapter:\n(1)\tOrder the respondent not to threaten, visit, assault, molest, or otherwise interfere with the victim.\n(2)\tOrder the respondent not to follow the victim, including at the victim's workplace.\n(3)\tOrder the respondent not to harass the victim.\n(4)\tOrder the respondent not to abuse or injure the victim.\n(5)\tOrder the respondent not to contact the victim by telephone, written communication, or electronic means.\n(6)\tOrder the respondent to refrain from entering or remaining present at the victim's residence, school, place of employment, or other specified places at times when the victim is present.\n(7)\tOrder other relief deemed necessary and appropriate by the court.\n(c)\tNo permanent civil no-contact order shall be issued under this Chapter without notice to the respondent.
