Stat. § 53-334","heading":"Notice and investigation of charter application.","body":"(a)\tThe Commissioner shall notify the organizers when the application is complete and accepted for filing and all required fees have been paid.\n(b)\tThe Commissioner shall investigate the application and inquire into the identity and character of each proposed director, officer, and principal shareholder. Notwithstanding any laws to the contrary, information in the application bearing on the character, or information about the personal finances, of an existing or proposed organizer, officer, director, or shareholder is confidential and not subject to public disclosure.
