Stat. § 58-89A-40","heading":"Qualifications for controlling person.","body":"(a)\tTo be qualified to serve as a controlling person of a licensee under this Article, the controlling person shall be at least 18 years of age, be of good moral character, and have educational, managerial, or business experience relevant to:\n(1)\tOperation of a professional employer organization; or\n(2)\tService as a controlling person of a professional employer organization.\n(b)\tThis section does not apply to persons who are licensed pursuant to the alternative licensing procedures set forth in G.S. 58-89A-76 or to entities that are controlling persons.
