Stat. § 66-71.6","heading":"Execution of certificate.","body":"An assumed business name certificate must be executed as follows:\n(1)\tIn the case of an individual, the certificate must be signed by the individual.\n(2)\tIn the case of a partnership or limited partnership, the certificate must be signed by a general partner.\n(3)\tIn the case of a corporation or limited liability company, the certificate must be signed in the name of the corporation or limited liability company by an officer of the corporation or a manager of the limited liability company or by another individual authorized by law to act for the corporation or limited liability company.\n(4)\tIn the case of any other person, the certificate must be signed in the name of the person by an individual authorized to act for the person.
