Stat. § 7B-3504","heading":"Considerations for emancipation.","body":"In determining the best interests of the petitioner and the need for emancipation, the court shall review the following considerations:\n(1)\tThe parental need for the earnings of the petitioner;\n(2)\tThe petitioner's ability to function as an adult;\n(3)\tThe petitioner's need to contract as an adult or to marry;\n(4)\tThe employment status of the petitioner and the stability of the petitioner's living arrangements;\n(5)\tThe extent of family discord which may threaten reconciliation of the petitioner with the petitioner's family;\n(6)\tThe petitioner's rejection of parental supervision or support; and\n(7)\tThe quality of parental supervision or support.
