Stat. § 90-686","heading":"Qualifications for licensure.","body":"(a)\tAn applicant shall be licensed to practice perfusion if the applicant meets all of the following qualifications:\n(1)\tIs at least 18 years old.\n(2)\tCompletes an application on a form provided by the Committee.\n(3)\tSuccessfully completes a perfusion education program approved by the Committee.\n(4)\tPays the required fee under G.S. 90-689.\n(5)\tIs a certified clinical perfusionist.\n(b)\tAll persons licensed under this section shall practice perfusion under the supervision of a physician licensed under Article 1 of Chapter 90 of the General Statutes.
