Stat. § 95-111.4A","heading":"Fees.","body":"(a)\tBeginning July 1, 2025, the Department shall charge fees not to exceed the following:\nAdvance Location Notice (ALN) Application Fee\t$25.00\nSpecial Inspection Fee - Expedited\t$1,000\nAmusement Major Ride Inspections\t$250.00\nAmusement Return Trip Inspections\t$500.00\nHoliday/Weekend Inspections\t$500.00\nKiddie Ride Inspections\t$100.00\nGo Kart Inspections (per cart)\t$50.00\nGo Kart Track Inspections\t$200.00\nAmusement Rock Wall Inspections\t$100.00\nRoller Coaster (permanent and portable) Inspections\t$500.00\nSimulators\t$100.00\nBungee Trampoline Inspections\t$100.00\nWater Slide Inspections\t$300.00\nTrain Inspections\t$250.00\n(b)\tNotwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, for fiscal years beginning on or after July 1, 2026, the Department shall adjust the fee amounts listed in subsection (a) of this section in accordance with the percent change in the annual Consumer Price Index computed by the Bureau of Labor Statistics using the most recent 12-month period for which data is available. The adjustment for fees under this subsection shall be rounded to the nearest dollar ($1.00), and the Commissioner shall publish any increase in fees under this subsection in the North Carolina Register and on the Department's website at least 60 days prior to any increase.
