Code § 15-39.1-27","heading":"Computation of years of service","body":"In computing the terms of service of a member under this chapter, a member employed full time who receives compensation for at least seven hundred hours in a fiscal year earns one year of service. A member who receives compensation for less than seven hundred hours of service earns fractional credit equal to the number of compensated hours worked in a fiscal year divided by seven hundred hours.
