Code § 15.1-06-06.2","heading":"Compliance report - Impossibility of timely submission","body":"The superintendent of public instruction may delay imposing the sanctions set forth in section 15.1-06-06 in the case of a public school and may delay imposing the sanctions set forth in section 15.1-06-06.1 in the case of a nonpublic school, until a time certain, if:\n1.The required submission of a school's compliance report is an impossibility due to:\na.A natural disaster or act of God, including fire, earthquake, or tornado;\nb.An unauthorized or illegal act by a third party, including terrorism, sabotage, riot, or vandalism;\nc.Death;\nd.A medical or personal emergency;\ne.Operational interruption, including electrical failure, and computer hardware or software failures; or\nf.Governmental action, including an emergency order or judicial or law enforcement action; and\n2.The superintendent of public instruction determines that the report, had it been submitted, would have demonstrated compliance with the approval requirements of section 15.1-06-06 in the case of a public school and compliance with the approval requirements of section 15.1-06-06.1 in the case of a nonpublic school.","path":["Title 15.1 Elementary And Secondary Education","Chapter 15.1-06 Schools"],"source_url":"https://ndlegis.gov/cencode/t15-1c06.pdf","current_through":"2026-07-31T11:12:02","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-02T21:04:14Z","sha256":"b991c00fc0991d75fa4f9cfaa3d55fba990633ad7f63bd7cd3bae866694fe52c","source_id":"us-nd","stale":true,"prev":"us-nd/n.d.-cent.-code-15.1-06-06.1","next":"us-nd/n.d.-cent.-code-15.1-06-06.3"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
