Code § 20.1-06-10","heading":"Commercial sales of fish","body":"No sale, barter, or trading of fish abounding in any waters of this state shall be legal except that:\n1.Persons authorized by section 20.1-06-05 may sell fish as directed by the director.\n2.Any person, firm, corporation, or limited liability company peddling fish may do so only after obtaining a license issued by the director upon payment of the required annual fee. The person, firm, corporation, or limited liability company shall keep a full and complete record of the source of fish as prescribed by the director.\n3.Any person, firm, corporation, or limited liability company operating a permanently located wholesale fish market, jobbing house, or other place for the wholesale marketing of fish, or a grocery store or retail fish market, may sell fish from its permanent location without obtaining a license, but must keep records of purchases.\n4.Any person operating a private fish hatchery may sell fish owned or raised for market or for stocking waters.","path":["Title 20.1 Game, Fish, Predators, And Boating","Chapter 20.1-06 Fish, Frog, And Turtle Regulations"],"source_url":"https://ndlegis.gov/cencode/t20-1c06.pdf","current_through":"2026-07-31T11:12:02","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-02T21:04:14Z","sha256":"f9c98487c18271b110414da87d4ec24a6569968d63819075495da5e9267e75b7","source_id":"us-nd","stale":true,"prev":"us-nd/n.d.-cent.-code-20.1-06-09","next":"us-nd/n.d.-cent.-code-20.1-06-11"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
