Code § 23-27.2-02","heading":"Program creation and administration","body":"1.The distressed ambulance service program is hereby created.\n2.The department shall:\na.Carry out the administrative functions of the program;\nb.Adopt rules necessary to implement this chapter and manage the program;\nc.Take reasonable measures to ensure reliable ambulance response within a distressed ambulance service's assigned service area;\nd.Monitor the implementation of a response approved under section 23-27.2-04;\ne.Monitor the implementation of a plan approved under section 23-27.2-06; and\nf.Annually evaluate issued waivers.\n3.The department may:\na.Waive specific provisions of chapter 23-27 or rules adopted under chapter 23-27 for a defined period of time, provided such waiver does not adversely affect the health and safety of the public; and\nb.Suspend or revoke a distressed ambulance service's license in accordance with section 23-27.2-06.","path":["Title 23 Health And Safety","Chapter 23-27.2 Distressed Ambulance Service Program"],"source_url":"https://ndlegis.gov/cencode/t23c27-2.pdf","current_through":"2026-07-31T11:12:02","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-02T21:04:14Z","sha256":"0f63a088c81572ae4a7065dff4b8cff161540a662a3e36ff1630f5df1ca770ad","source_id":"us-nd","stale":true,"prev":"us-nd/n.d.-cent.-code-23-27.2-01","next":"us-nd/n.d.-cent.-code-23-27.2-03"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
