Code § 25-16-01","heading":"Definitions","body":"In this chapter unless the context or subject matter otherwise requires:\n1.\"Department\" means the department of health and human services.\n2.\"Developmental disability\" has the same meaning as in section 25-01.2-01.\n3.\"Group home\" means any community residential facility housing more than three individuals with a developmental disability.\n4.\"Host home\" means a community-based family home environment providing services to no more than two individuals with a developmental disability who require out-of-home placement to facilitate delivery of intensive care and support.\n5.\"Provider agency\" means an entity providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities and licensed by the department to provide services.","path":["Title 25 Mental And Physical Illness Or Disability","Chapter 25-16 Residential Care And Services For The Developmentally Disabled"],"source_url":"https://ndlegis.gov/cencode/t25c16.pdf","current_through":"2026-07-31T11:12:02","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-02T21:04:14Z","sha256":"055cc740ed7947a5ae495a192bb347382d578e2d5bdc6a4e951e810f8815a494","source_id":"us-nd","stale":true,"prev":"us-nd/n.d.-cent.-code-25-14-02","next":"us-nd/n.d.-cent.-code-25-16-02"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
