Code § 26.1-02-16","heading":"Verification - Notice of filing","body":"At the time a foreign decree is filed in this state, the commissioner shall make and file with the clerk of the appropriate district court an affidavit setting forth the name and last-known post-office address of the defendant and verifying that the decree or order is a foreign decree.
