Code § 26.1-53.1-10","heading":"Nonrenewal, suspension, or revocation","body":"The commissioner may suspend the authority of a discount plan organization to enroll new members or refuse to renew, suspend, or revoke a discount plan organization's registration if, after notice to the registrant and hearing, the commissioner finds that any of the following conditions exist:\n1.The discount plan organization is not operating in compliance with this chapter;\n2.The discount plan organization has advertised, merchandised, or attempted to merchandise the organization's services in such a manner as to misrepresent the organization's services or capacity for service or has engaged in deceptive, misleading, or unfair practices with respect to advertising or merchandising;\n3.The discount plan organization is not fulfilling the organization's obligations as a discount plan organization; or\n4.The continued operation of the discount plan organization would be hazardous to the organization's members.","path":["Title 26.1 Insurance","Chapter 26.1-53.1 Discount Plans"],"source_url":"https://ndlegis.gov/cencode/t26-1c53-1.pdf","current_through":"2026-07-31T11:12:02","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-02T21:04:14Z","sha256":"f22f0ccf183733a68ef6c59a7bb9ba7f2c27cefd8911eddf38f5466701b2078f","source_id":"us-nd","stale":true,"prev":"us-nd/n.d.-cent.-code-26.1-53.1-09","next":"us-nd/n.d.-cent.-code-26.1-53.1-11"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
