Code § 29-01-26","heading":"Duty of clerk or magistrate","body":"The clerk, magistrate, or other person to whom property is delivered, as provided in section 29-01-25, shall record every amount of money and a description of every article of property taken from each person arrested, attach a number to every amount of money and every article of property, and make a corresponding entry thereof.
