Code § 29-22-29","heading":"Judgment if jurors persist - Acquittal","body":"If the jurors persist in finding a verdict such as is described in section 29-22-28 from which it can be clearly understood that their intention is to find in favor of the defendant upon the issue, it must be entered in the terms in which it is found, and the court shall give a judgment of acquittal.
