Code § 39-10-16","heading":"One-way roadways and rotary traffic islands","body":"1.The director and local authorities with respect to highways under their respective jurisdictions may designate any highway, roadway, part of a roadway, or specific lanes upon which vehicular traffic shall proceed in one direction at all or such times as shall be indicated by official traffic-control devices.\n2.Upon a roadway so designated for one-way traffic, a vehicle shall be driven only in the direction designated at all or at such times as shall be indicated by official traffic-control devices.\n3.A vehicle passing around a rotary traffic island must be driven only to the right of such island.\n4.After a vehicle enters a rotary traffic island, the vehicle may exit from any position within the rotary traffic island without giving a signal of intention to exit the rotary traffic island.","path":["Title 39 Motor Vehicles","Chapter 39-10 General Rules Of The Road"],"source_url":"https://ndlegis.gov/cencode/t39c10.pdf","current_through":"2026-07-31T11:12:02","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-02T21:04:14Z","sha256":"e3993490811d5d26bb7af14e63555ce7f99bfe1d3e7978187ca1230cc849af80","source_id":"us-nd","stale":true,"prev":"us-nd/n.d.-cent.-code-39-10-15","next":"us-nd/n.d.-cent.-code-39-10-17"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
