Code § 39-10-50.1","heading":"Electric vehicle parking stalls or spaces - Unauthorized parking or obstructing","body":"1.If a public or private entity designates a parking space for charging an electric vehicle, the reserved space must be indicated by a sign approved by the director. The sign must be consistent with the manual of uniform traffic control devices authorized under section 39-13-06, and indicate:\na.Use of the reserved space is for charging electric vehicles only; and\nb.Unauthorized use of the spaces is a nonmoving violation for which a fee of fifty dollars must be imposed.\n2.An individual may not park or leave standing a vehicle in a stall or space designated for charging and parking a vehicle, unless the individual's vehicle is connected for electric charging purposes.\n3.An individual may not obstruct, block, or otherwise bar access to a space designated for charging a vehicle.","path":["Title 39 Motor Vehicles","Chapter 39-10 General Rules Of The Road"],"source_url":"https://ndlegis.gov/cencode/t39c10.pdf","current_through":"2026-07-31T11:12:02","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-02T21:04:14Z","sha256":"8d40eec0052a54b7aa17ba7495c79faafc8f706953d47e2b179f846744a175a8","source_id":"us-nd","stale":true,"prev":"us-nd/n.d.-cent.-code-39-10-50","next":"us-nd/n.d.-cent.-code-39-10-51"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
