Code § 39-21-44.2","heading":"Drawbar or connection between vehicles - Precautions required","body":"The drawbar or other coupling device between vehicles, one of which is towing or drawing the other on a highway, must include safety chains connecting the vehicles. The drawbar or other coupling device, and the safety chains, must be of a design, strength, and construction so as to prevent the unintentional uncoupling of the vehicles.
