Code § 4.1-16-17","heading":"Penalties","body":"1.A person violating this chapter is guilty of a class A misdemeanor.\n2.In addition to criminal sanctions that may be imposed pursuant to subsection 1, a person found to have violated this chapter or rules adopted under this chapter is subject to a civil penalty not to exceed five thousand dollars per violation.
