Code § 4.1-40.1-02","heading":"Required labeling","body":"1.Except for materials exempt under this chapter, the label on a beneficial substance must contain in a readable and conspicuous form:\na.The brand, including the product name;\nb.The net weight or net volume in both customary and metric measurements;\nc.The name and address of the guarantor, registrant, and manufacturer;\nd.A statement identifying the purpose of the product;\ne.The directions for use; and\nf.A statement of composition showing the amount of each ingredient under the heading \"CONTAINS BENEFICIAL SUBSTANCES\", which is the agent in a product primarily responsible for the intended effects, containing the:\n(1)Name and percentage of each beneficial substance and the ingredient source if applicable;\n(2)Genus and species of the micro-organism, if applicable; and\n(3)Specific measurement of the colony forming unit or other acceptable unit.\n2.For a product claiming micro-organisms, the labels must include the:\na.Information required under subsection 1;\nb.Expiration date for use; and\nc.Appropriate storage conditions and practices.\n3.If an ingredient not presently defined by the American association of plant food control officials in the United States is used in a beneficial substance, the label must include efficacy data to support beneficial substance ingredient claims.\n4.If a beneficial substance is part of a bulk shipment, the information provided under subsection 1 must accompany delivery and be supplied to the purchaser at the time of delivery.","path":["Title 4.1 Agriculture","Chapter 4.1-40.1 Biostimulant And Beneficial Substance Regulation"],"source_url":"https://ndlegis.gov/cencode/t04-1c40-1.pdf","current_through":"2026-07-31T11:12:02","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-02T21:04:14Z","sha256":"f59f77d8caff6bd8a1e55f58b2b9b3c265bcc3e579c68249256f90a115125dbb","source_id":"us-nd","stale":true,"prev":"us-nd/n.d.-cent.-code-4.1-40.1-01","next":"us-nd/n.d.-cent.-code-4.1-40.1-03"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
