Code § 43-15-31","heading":"Prescriptions to be filed and preserved","body":"Every licensed pharmacist in the state shall file, or cause to be filed, any prescription, or a copy thereof, which has been compounded or dispensed in the pharmacist's pharmacy or drugstore. The prescription or a copy of the prescription must be preserved for at least five years after it has been filled.
