Code § 43-19.1-16.2","heading":"Qualifications of land surveyor interns","body":"The board shall certify as a land surveyor intern an otherwise qualified applicant who has passed a board-approved written examination on the fundamentals of mathematics and the basic principles of land surveying and:\n1.Has a baccalaureate degree in land surveying from an institution that offers board- approved accredited programs;\n2.Has a baccalaureate degree in a board-approved program other than land surveying and:\na.Has board-approved educational training in land surveying in connection with the baccalaureate degree or other program; and\nb.Has at least two years of qualifying land surveying experience of a character satisfactory to the board;\n3.Has an associate degree in land surveying from a board-approved program and has at least two years of qualifying land surveying experience of a character satisfactory to the board; or\n4.Has a certificate in land surveying from an institution that offers a board-approved program and has at least four years of qualifying land surveying experience of a character satisfactory to the board.","path":["Title 43 Occupations And Professions","Chapter 43-19.1 Professional Engineers And Land Surveyors"],"source_url":"https://ndlegis.gov/cencode/t43c19-1.pdf","current_through":"2026-07-31T11:12:02","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-02T21:04:14Z","sha256":"52ffd147f0787d384bb7ead8f4ca291470cc7bf66550df8a4ed49059341e4dd6","source_id":"us-nd","stale":true,"prev":"us-nd/n.d.-cent.-code-43-19.1-16.1","next":"us-nd/n.d.-cent.-code-43-19.1-17"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
