Code § 43-44-21","heading":"Criminal history record checks","body":"1.The board may require an applicant for licensure or renewal to submit to a statewide and nationwide criminal history record check. The nationwide criminal history record check must be conducted in the manner provided in section 12-60-24. Refusal to consent to a criminal history record check may constitute grounds for the board to deny licensure to an applicant.
