Code § 44-09-12","heading":"Objections to the articles - Procedure","body":"If the accused makes objections to the sufficiency of the articles of impeachment and such objections are sustained by a majority of the members of the senate, the decision must be entered on the journal and no further proceedings may be had upon the articles.
