Code § 51-32-04","heading":"Disclosure requirements","body":"The notice required under subdivision c of subsection 1 of section 51-32-01 must include:\n1.A prominent and clearly legible statement that cigarette sales to consumers below the legal minimum age are illegal;\n2.A prominent and clearly legible statement that consists of one of the warnings set forth in section 4(a)(1) of the federal Cigarette Labeling and Advertising Act [15 U.S.C. 1333(a)(1)] rotated on a quarterly basis;\n3.A prominent and clearly legible statement that sales of cigarettes are restricted to those consumers who provide verifiable proof of age in accordance with section 51-32-01; and\n4.A prominent and clearly legible statement that cigarette sales are subject to tax under sections 57-36-06 and 57-36-32, and an explanation of how the tax has been, or is to be, paid with respect to the delivery sale.","path":["Title 51 Sales And Exchanges","Chapter 51-32 Remote Sales Of Tobacco Products"],"source_url":"https://ndlegis.gov/cencode/t51c32.pdf","current_through":"2026-07-31T11:12:02","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-02T21:04:14Z","sha256":"494b89501d603220aecc1f41b8fdc4aabed9888c95aadbc166788cca5a0e43d6","source_id":"us-nd","stale":false,"prev":"us-nd/n.d.-cent.-code-51-32-03","next":"us-nd/n.d.-cent.-code-51-32-05"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
