Code § 54-17.3-05","heading":"Coordination of quaternary fossil finds","body":"The state geologist shall notify the director of the state historical society of all quaternary paleontological finds reported to the state geologist which potentially or actually contain cultural resources. The treatment of sites containing both paleontological remains and cultural resources must be handled in a manner jointly agreed upon by the state geologist and the director.
