Stat. § 13-1504","body":"An agreement shall specify:\n\n(1) Its duration;\n\n(2) The precise organization, composition, and nature of any separate legal entity created;\n\n(3) Its purpose;\n\n(4) The manner of financing the agreement and establishing and maintaining a budget;\n\n(5) The method to be employed in accomplishing the partial or complete termination of the agreement and for disposing of property upon such partial or complete termination, if any;\n\n(6) Provisions for administering the agreement, which may include, but not be limited to, the creation of a joint board responsible for such administration;\n\n(7) The manner of acquiring, holding, and disposing of real and personal property used in the agreement;\n\n(8) When an agreement involves law enforcement:\n\n(a) The minimum training standards and qualifications of law enforcement personnel;\n\n(b) The respective liability of each public agency and tribal government for the actions of law enforcement officers when acting under the provisions of an agreement;\n\n(c) The minimum insurance required of both the public agency and the tribal government; and\n\n(d) The exact chain of command to be followed by law enforcement officers acting under the agreement; and\n\n(9) Any other necessary and proper matters.","path":["NE Code","Chapter 13"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=13-1504","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:21Z","sha256":"03ea8292900a7b83f7afec2d04bb74ba53a3cfbdca74accb70ecbb813936ebe3","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-13-1503","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-13-1505"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
