Stat. § 18-803","body":"For purposes of the Regional Metropolitan Transit Authority Act:\n\n(1) Board means the board of directors of any regional metropolitan transit authority established under the Regional Metropolitan Transit Authority Act;\n\n(2) Combined statistical area means two or more adjacent metropolitan statistical areas or micropolitan statistical areas delineated by the United States Office of Management and Budget as a combined statistical area under standards developed using data from the 2010 Census of Population by the United States Bureau of the Census, and data from the 2006-2010 American Community Survey 5-Year Estimate by the United States Bureau of the Census, as such delineations existed on April 10, 2018;\n\n(3) Governing body means the city council of a city or the village board of trustees of a village;\n\n(4) Metropolitan statistical area means a core-based statistical area delineated by the United States Office of Management and Budget as a metropolitan statistical area under standards developed using data from the 2010 Census of Population by the United States Bureau of the Census, and data from the 2006-2010 American Community Survey 5-Year Estimate by the United States Bureau of the Census, as such delineations existed on April 10, 2018;\n\n(5) Micropolitan statistical area means a core-based statistical area delineated by the United States Office of Management and Budget as a micropolitan statistical area under standards developed using data from the 2010 Census of Population by the United States Bureau of the Census, and data from the 2006-2010 American Community Survey 5-Year Estimate by the United States Bureau of the Census, as such delineations existed on April 10, 2018;\n\n(6) Municipality means any city or village in the State of Nebraska;\n\n(7) Revenue bonds means revenue bonds issued by a regional metropolitan transit authority established under the Regional Metropolitan Transit Authority Act; and\n\n(8) Territory means the operating jurisdiction of a regional metropolitan transit authority as established pursuant to section 18-804 .","path":["NE Code","Chapter 18"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=18-803","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:21Z","sha256":"fd8dae17b93d523f8e380007dda733322f6cd9d0f9c7a1e3a1bd18de6f568b23","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-18-802","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-18-804"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
